- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Felt rushed , he never said what was wrong with my hand even when he saw something on the xray. Then he just wanted to push cortisone shot which I had already had 2 prior that didn't offer much relief. I will not be going back very disappointed. So I went and saw a hand specialist and this is what they found wrong with my wrist . Longitudinal split tear of the extenso carpi rulnaris tendon, extending from the level of the distal 1.5cm of the ulna through the hamate. Moderate second through fourth campartment tenosynovitis, mild third through fifith flexor digitorum profunda tenosynovitis. Full thickness tear of the central disk of the triangular viral cartilage complex There is articular cartilage loss and moderate subchondral bone edema in the proximal medial aspect of the lunate. Mild first carpometacarpal joint osteoarthrosis . There is a 1.3cm multiloculated ganglion cyst volar to the radial-scaphoid and a 1.2cm ganglion cyst dorsal to the scaphoid capitate. So A steroid injection isn't gonna help my situation and I'm glad I found a doctor that took the time to listen to me and did a MRI to find out the damage in my wrists.
